Hunters can provide input for the 2019-20 big game seasons at February open houses

Idaho Fish and Game staff will hold a series of open houses around the state to talk to hunters about their preferences for rules and seasons for the upcoming big game hunts.

The department will also provide a list of proposed rule changes for the 2019-20 big game hunting seasons before the first meetings, and people will be able to see those proposals and comment online.

The Idaho Fish and Game Commission will review public comments, and are scheduled to set seasons and rules during its March 12-13 meeting in Boise.

The following meetings take place in East Idaho:

n Feb. 6: Soda Springs, Caribou County Fire Station, 655 E. Second S.

n Feb. 12: Malad City, Oneida County Senior Center, 26 N. Main St.

n Feb. 12: Idaho Falls Fish and Game regional office, 4279 Commerce Circle

n Feb. 13: Rexburg, Madison Middle School, 575 W. Seventh S.

n Feb. 13: Montpelier, Bear Lake Senior Center, 115 S. Fourth St.

n Feb. 19: Preston, Larsen-Sant Library, 109 S. First E.

n Feb. 19: Arco, Butte Middle/High School, 120 S. Water St.

n Feb. 20: Blackfoot, City Hall Council Chambers, 157 N. Broadway St.

n Feb. 21: Pocatello, Fish and Game regional office, 1345 Barton Road

All meetings take place from 6:30 to 9 p.m.
