POCATELLO — Boston’s Pizza Restaurant & Sports Bar (Boston’s), the casual dining concept that combines a family-friendly restaurant and sports bar under one roof, announced today an agreement that will bring the brand’s first location to Idaho – specifically Pocatello or the ‘Gateway to the Northwest.’
The location will be owned and operated by seasoned entrepreneur, Jabbar Singh Dhaliwal. Dhaliwal, a native of India and citizen of Canada, has a rich professional background that includes owning and operating convenience stores and Red Lion Hotels in Canada and the United States. The Pocatello restaurant, conveniently located inside of the Red Lion Hotel at 1555 Pocatello Creek Rd, Pocatello, ID, will seat nearly 300 guests and will bring approximately 35-40 new jobs to the area.
Boston’s brand name stems back to 1964 when company founder and Greek immigrant, Gus Agioritis, visited Boston and fell in love with the city. After his visit, he took the namesake back to Edmonton, Alberta and opened the first Boston Pizza and Spaghetti House. Current day Boston’s offer its guests a contemporary, sit-down family dining atmosphere with a separate sports bar, allowing for family and friend gatherings of all sizes. While the brand specializes in gourmet pizza and pasta, its menu features nearly 90 items including salads, sandwiches and a variety of sports bar favorites such as burgers, wings and ribs giving guests an offering of traditional American cuisine.
