Revive @ 5 on Wednesday will feature Country Drive live on stage beginning at 5 pm. Mackenzie River Pizza will have delicious food available. The sponsor for the evening is Kruse Insurance. The Farmers Market will be open with fresh vegetables, fruits, handmade crafts and jewelry, all at the Old Town Pavilion, 420 N. Main St., from 5-8 pm.

The Citizens Community Bank Old Town Trolley will be visiting area parks this summer. In conjunction with the lunch program, we will have fun stuff for the kids and information about what’s coming up in Old Town Pocatello. On Thursday we will be visiting OK Ward Park.

In preparation for Kind Week in September, Old Town Pocatello and Kind Community will be hosting “The Kind Village Kids Public Paint Project.” On Friday, area kids will be participating in the art project that will bring the “Kind Village” to life.

Kids will choose a piece of pre-cut aluminum, paint it using their very own creativity, and sign it. The kids will paint from 10 am to 4 pm. Registration is almost full. If your kids would like to participate, please register them today at www.oldtownpocatello.com.

The kids’ public paint project on Friday will transition into the August First Friday Art Walk at 5 pm. Stroll through Old Town and visit the participating art galleries, shops and restaurants hosting artists. All local residents and visitors are welcome.

This no cost event is hosted by Old Town Pocatello, Inc. and our merchants. Parking is free, too! The event guide will be available on www.oldtownpocatello.com on Thursday. Be sure to stop by the Old Town Pavilion and catch the dress rehearsal of “The Magic of Broadway.” The talent in this show is unbelievable!

On Saturday, enjoy live outdoor theater as “The Magic of Broadway” takes the stage and features iconic scenes from your favorite Broadway shows. Your favorite characters, including the princesses, will present two performances, 5 pm and 7 pm, with autographs at 4 pm.

Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to the Old Town Pavilion and enjoy this lovely show. Admission is free for families! Lunch and dinner will be available at the variety of restaurants throughout Old Town. Take your pick and enjoy a delicious meal before or after the show.

On Friday and Saturday, Annie Halls’ Vintage Boutique will host its 2017 Bridal Warehouse Sale. Hundreds of gowns marked down as much as 80 percent. Designers such as: Maggie Sottero, Oleg Cassini, Melissa Sweet, DB Studio, WToo, Vintage, and more!

This sale is so huge it will not be in Annie’s store. It will be held inside Hope Studios, two doors down at 152 N. 2nd Ave. The sale will run Friday from 5-8 pm and Saturday from noon to 8 pm.

The Pocatello Art Center, 444 N. Main, will be hosting an art exhibit reflecting the beauty of our region created by Pocatello Art Center members. See these works, as well as those by the Porcelain Artists of Southeast Idaho during the First Friday Art Walk. The show will continue through August. The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 10 am to 4 pm.

On Friday and Saturday, The Bourbon Barrel will present published Nashville songwriter and guitar wizard John Martin. Shows both nights are from 9 pm to 1 am.

This weekend at Portneuf Valley Brewing, catch Canon Lion of Judah, featuring backup members of the Opskamatrists on Friday. On Saturday night you can share the songs you love with TNT DJ karaoke. Both events are from 9 pm-11:30 pm with no cover.

The Portneuf Valley Farmers Market will be celebrating National Farmers Market Week at the market on Saturday. From 9 am to 1 pm there will be free shopping bags, while supplies last, for shoppers to fill up with fresh produce.

The market will feature fresh corn, raspberries, beans, cucumbers and more, fresh, locally grown produce. Enjoy a hot grilled hamburger or hot dog while you shop at the Old Town Pavilion.
