The Pocatello Art Center, 444 N. Main St., is offering weekly Children’s Summer Classes on Mondays through July 24 for 8-10 year olds, and Thursdays through July 27 for 11-13 year olds.
Both sections will run from 10 am to noon and cost $5 per session. June’s artist instructors are Karen Vargason and Bob Beason. July’s artist instructors are Carolyn Purnell and Laraine Hatch. Old Town will be alive with crowds on Friday, July 7, as we host the First Friday Art Walk for July. Don’t miss this opportunity to view and experience art by local artists as well as regional and national artists.
The walk includes over 20 businesses, restaurants and galleries, some with art on display, some with the artist on hand and some providing a live demonstration. Refreshments are always available.
You may also find live music along the way. All local residents and visitors are welcome. There is no charge to attend monthly Art Walks. Art Walk guides will be available at www.oldtownpocatello.com on July 6.
