The Pocatello Co-op Natural Foods Market and Farm Table Café, 308 E. Center St., now has an expanded menu and is open for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays. In a hurry? Pick up a pizza to-go or other great ideas from a grab & go cooler along with a variety of other items to make your meal prep easy.

Revive @ 5 on Wednesday will feature Quick Change live on stage beginning at 5 pm. El Herradero will be the featured food truck. The sponsor for the evening is The Biggest Show In Idaho. The Farmers Market will be open with fresh-made onsite lemonade, fresh cherries, handmade crafts and jewelry, all at the Old Town Pavilion, 420 N. Main St., from 5-8 pm.

On Friday, Portneuf Valley Brewing welcomes back Shawn Barnby and friends playing their brand of acoustic rock. Saturday night look forward to a relaxing evening of acoustic reflections with Scott Balsai. Both shows are 9 pm-11:30 pm in the Loft, no cover.

July Fourth is next week. Celebrate your independence by using PVB’s online ordering system to have a growler and pizza (or whatever your fancy) ready to pick up on your way to your festivities.

The Portneuf Valley Farmers Market will be open on Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm at the Old Town Pavilion. Don’t miss the fresh bread, fresh produce, fresh eggs, and more at this week’s Market.

The Pocatello Art Center, 444 N. Main St., is offering weekly Children’s Summer Classes on Mondays through July 24 for 8-10 year olds, and Thursdays through July 27 for 11-13 year olds.

Both sections will run from 10 am to noon and cost $5 per session. June’s artist instructors are Karen Vargason and Bob Beason. July’s artist instructors are Carolyn Purnell and Laraine Hatch. Old Town will be alive with crowds on Friday, July 7, as we host the First Friday Art Walk for July. Don’t miss this opportunity to view and experience art by local artists as well as regional and national artists.

The walk includes over 20 businesses, restaurants and galleries, some with art on display, some with the artist on hand and some providing a live demonstration. Refreshments are always available.

You may also find live music along the way. All local residents and visitors are welcome. There is no charge to attend monthly Art Walks. Art Walk guides will be available at www.oldtownpocatello.com on July 6.
