Have you heard that the Pocatello Pet Lodge is growing? Due to demand for the luxury day care, boarding and grooming services offered for our furry friends, “Pocatello Pet Lodge, Too” will be opening soon.

The second location is just across the parking lot at 143 S. 2nd. Two beautiful locations, 145 S. 3rd and 143 S. 2nd for your pets on the East side of Old Town. Congratulations Stephanie, Jason and crew!

The Great Harvest Bread Company’s June Sandwich of the month is their Smoked Turkey Goddess! Smoked Turkey Breast, Creamy Havarti Cheese drizzled with delectable Goddess Dressing. You’re gonna love it! Great Harvest is also carrying gourmet hamburger buns through Labor Day.

Stop in at 250 N. Main and grab a bag for your next barbecue or call in and order them made out of your favorite bread. Be sure to try the Lemon Supreme Tea Cake-excellent for your Strawberry Short Cake. Or skip making it yourself and try their Strawberry Short Cake Bread! The Pocatello Art Center, 444 N. Main, will offer its weekly Children’s Summer Classes in June and July, starting Monday, June 12 for 8-10 year olds, and Thursday, June 15, for 11-13 year olds. Both sections will run from 10 am — Noon and cost $5 per session. June’s instructors are Karen Vargason and Bob Beason. The classes are structured for fun and learning art and crafts. Revive @ 5 on Wednesday will feature Steelhead Red live on stage beginning at 5 pm. Kowloon Express will be the featured food truck. The sponsor for the evening is Hill Family Investments. The Farmers Market will be open with fresh produce, handmade crafts and jewelry, all at the Old Town Pavilion (420 N. Main St.) from 5-8pm.

Looking for something fun to do with your family and friends? Try Pocatello’s only escape room, 13 Locks Escape Rooms, now open on 1st Street. Live music at Portneuf Valley Brewing will feature Best By Yesterday on Friday and The 4 am Club on Saturday. Both shows begin at 9:30 pm with no cover. Plan to arrive early for a cold growler and delicious dinner!

The Portneuf Valley Farmers Market brings the community of Pocatello and Chubbuck fresh produce, locally grown plants, trees and shrubs, hanging flower baskets, fresh baked goods, jams, jellies, honey and a variety of handmade arts and craft items. Come shop the Market on Wednesdays from 5-8 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm at the Old Town Pavilion.

Mark your calendars for the 11th Annual Meals on Wheels Driving For Dough Charity Golf Tournament hosted by SEICAA. The tournament will be at Riverside Golf Course on Saturday. Registration is now open at www.seicaa.org. Play golf and help support our local Meals on Wheels program.

Citizens Community Bank will celebrate their 20th Anniversary on June 26. Join them at any branch location for a BBQ from 11 am to 2 pm. They will have free giveaways, lots of fun and KZBQ will be broadcasting from the Pocatello branches.
