The Bannock Civitan Club is excited to kick off the Revive @ 5 Summer Concert’s this Wednesday! It’s Educator’s Night sponsored by ISU Credit Union. Live on stage beginning at 5 pm will be Jim Jamz, performing for their first Revive @ 5.
PV’s Uncorked on Main will be the featured restaurant. Friends of the Civitan Club will be back with cold water, pop and tasty ice cream. The Farmers Market will be open with fresh produce, handmade crafts and jewelry. Catch up with friends, enjoy your family and come celebrate the beginning of summer on Wednesday from 5-8 pm at the Old Town Pavilion.
The Grecian Key Restaurant, 314 N. Main, is featuring live music every Friday evening. Ray Rodriquez along with Kevin, Karl and Riley, play live beginning at 7:30 pm on Fridays. Great music along with delicious Greek food make for a wonderful evening downtown. Plan to stop in this Friday!
With the end of another school year upon us, keeping your kids busy all summer is easy when you take a look at the classes and projects available at The Grape Van Gogh. The Portneuf Valley Farmers Market will open on Wednesday and Saturday this week. At the Market you will also find fresh breads, handmade jewelry, yard ornaments, bird feeders and more. Come shop the Farmers Market at the Old Town Pavilion on Wednesdays from 5-8 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm.
At Portneuf Valley Brewing come check out Built for Slow this Friday and see singer/songwriter Brian Smith perform his one-man wonderment that’s traveled from Addis Ababa all around the globe. His live show is a fun mix of punkabilly, blues, and straight ahead corn-fed midwestern rock. Saturday night PVB will host Lowkey Savs out of Montana. Both shows this weekend go from 9 pm-11:30 pm with no cover. Don’t forget PVB is open on Sundays from 10am to 9pm all summer long.
Upcoming Events!
The Pocatello Art Center, 444 N. Main, will be hosting two new special exhibits as well as a variety of artwork with the theme of “Mountains, Streams, Lakes and Oceans” created by Pocatello Art Center members during the First Friday Art Walk on June 2 from 5-8 pm.
Watercolorist Gene Sherman will be displaying his paintings of historic Pocatello buildings, along with a Legacy project show which includes the photography of Craig Worth. The show will continue through June in the Pocatello Art Center Gallery. The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 10 am to 4 pm.
Mark your calendars for June 10th and the 11th Annual Meals on Wheels Driving For Dough Charity Golf Tournament hosted by SEICAA. Registration is now open at www.seicaa.org. Play golf and help support our local Meals on Wheels program.
