The Idaho Department of Fish and Game is holding two barbecue events for the volunteers who aided the department with the authorized feeding of big game in the southeast region.
If you were a volunteer this past winter in our winter feeding efforts, please join us for a free dinner and opportunities to win raffle prizes. Plus, we have over 100 elderberry plants donated to the department to give to the winter feeding volunteers while supplies last.
The two events scheduled this week are:
- Montpelier City Park, May 17.
- Franklin County Fairgrounds Robinson Building (outside), May 18.
Both events run from 6 pm to 7:30 p.m.
Fish and Game thanks all those who participated in the efforts to address the challenges this winter brought to big game herds. Whether you paneled haystacks, hauled hay, distributed pellets, or served on the Winter Feeding Advisory Committee, you were appreciated.
