Zip Kit Homes expands to Pocatello bringing 20 new jobs

By Journal Staff

POCATELLO — Bannock Development Corporation announced Thursday the expansion decision of Zip Kit Homes into the Pocatello/Chubbuck community.
Zip Kit builds modular homes in Utah and has outgrown its current capacity. The decision to move into Eastern Idaho was based on Pocatello/Chubbuck’s skilled workforce, excellent locations, transportation systems and proximity to specific markets, all of which met Zip Kit’s business needs.

The owner of Zip Kit Homes, Chris Jaussi, was impressed with the service from the Idaho Department of Labor, site owners and Bannock Development Corporation.

The new business will start by bringing 20 new jobs to the area and could increase to 40 jobs. Wages will start in the mid-teens and rise with more qualifications. To learn more about Zip Kit Homes, visit www.zipkithomes.com.
