25th Annual Freestyle Rally coming to Pebble Creek Saturday

INKOM — The 25th Annual Snowboard and Freestyle Rally will be held Saturday at Pebble Creek Ski Area.

The event began as a snowboarder-only event, but over the years more skiers participated. Now all freestylers are invited to participate, with events for both skiers and boarders.

The Board Cross is at 11 a.m., with the Skier Cross at noon. The Big Air Competition is at 2 p.m. and the Rail Jam at 3 p.m. For all events, participants are divided into age groups with male and female divisions.

The Idaho National Guard is hosting a Zombie Target Slalom starting at 11:30 a.m., where skiers and riders go through slalom gates shooting air soft rifle at zombie targets. If under 18, please bring a parent to sign up.

The Awards Ceremony will begin shortly after 4 p.m. Competition winners will each receive a coveted "Piece of the Rock." All participants are entered to win great draw prizes. Draw prize winners must be present to receive their prizes.

The registration fee for the Freestyle Rally is $20. The entrance fee includes a T-shirt for the first 60 participants, and it allows the rider to compete in the events and be eligible for draw prizes at the Awards Ceremony.

Registration is in the office. All riders must have a valid lift ticket or season pass to access the course and features.
